The Mustangs (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Wayne County (Waynesboro, MS). The War Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Wayne County was nudged by Greene County (Leakesville, MS), 66-48, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Braves confront the Northeast Jones Tigers (Laurel, MS) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 20. South Jones will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Tigers enter the contest with a 2-1 record after their 48-7 non-league win over St. Patrick (Biloxi, MS).
