In Friday's non-league game, the Woodgrove Wolverines (Purcellville, VA) football team edged the host Stone Bridge Bulldogs (Ashburn, VA), by a tally of 8-7.
In their next game, the Wolverines battle the Heritage Pride (Leesburg, VA) in a non-league game, on Friday, September 20. Woodgrove will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Pride enter the game with a 1-2 record after their 20-6 non-league win over Potomac Falls (Sterling, VA).
The Bulldogs (0-3) will now prepare for their game against Quince Orchard (Gaithersburg, MD). The Cougars enter the non-league game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Quince Orchard held off Gaithersburg (Gaithersburg, MD), 42-7, in a league game.
