Ware Shoals Hornets (Ware Shoals, SC) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Towns County Indians (Hiawassee, GA), 28-12 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Ware Shoals improves its record to 1-3 on the season. The Hornets host Greenville Hurricanes (Greenville, SC) to play the Hurricanes in a non-league battle on Thursday, September 26. The Hurricanes go into the battle with a record of 2-3.
The Indians now have a 3-2 record. They play next when they host Butler for a non-league battle on Friday, September 20. Towns County will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 30-0 non-league loss to Washington-Wilkes (Washington, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-2.
