The Valley Oaks CES Vanguards were victorious over the visiting Villanova Prep Wildcats football team by a score of 30-6 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Vanguards face the New Designs University Park Cardinals (Los Angeles, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 20. Valley Oaks CES will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Cardinals enter the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 32-26 non-league loss to Milken (Los Angeles, CA).

The Wildcats (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Vista Meridian (Santa Ana, CA). The Meridian Eagles enter the non-league challenge with a 0-3 record.
