Alaska High School Flag Football - Colony tops Bettye Davis East Anchorage

September 13, 2024: Palmer, AK 99645

The Colony Knights flag football squad scored 10 points and limited the visiting Bettye Davis East Anchorage Thunderbirds to 0 in the Knights non-league triumph on Friday.

The Knights now sport a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they host Wasilla for a Northern Lights test on Tuesday, September 17. Colony will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 30-0 league win over West Valley (Fairbanks, AK). The Warriors record now stands at 7-2.

With the defeat, Bettye Davis East Anchorage drops to 4-7 on the campaign. The Thunderbirds host Chugiak (Chugiak, AK) to meet the Mustangs in a Cook Inlet test on Tuesday, September 17. The Mustangs come into the test with a record of 4-5. Chugiak lost 8-0 in their recent non-league test against North Pole (North Pole, AK)
