State College Little Lions (State College, PA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the host Jersey Shore Bulldogs (Jersey Shore, PA), 1-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, State College moves its record to 1-6 on the campaign. The Little Lions host Mechanicsburg (Mechanicsburg, PA) to meet the Wildcats in a Mid-Penn - Commonwealth test on Tuesday, September 17. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 5-1. Mechanicsburg won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Dallastown (Dallastown, PA)

The Bulldogs now sport a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Williamsport for a Heartland I test on Monday, September 16. Jersey Shore will meet a Millionaires team coming off a 8-0 league loss to Central Columbia (Bloomsburg, PA). The Millionaires record now stands at 3-3.
