The Liberty Patriots got by the visiting Buchanan Bears football team by a score of 29-23 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Patriots face the Central Grizzlies (Fresno, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 20. Liberty will attempt to improve on its 3-0 season record. The Grizzlies go into the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 29-8 non-league win over Edison (Stockton, CA).

The Bears (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Paso Robles (Paso Robles, CA). The Bearcats go into the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record.
