The Edna Karr Cougars football squad scored 36 points and limited the visiting Chalmette Owls to 35 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Friday.
The Cougars now sport a 13-0 record.
With the defeat, Chalmette drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Owls host South Plaquemines (Buras, LA) to clash with the Hurricanes in a non-league test on Wednesday, October 2. The Hurricanes come into the test with a record of 0-0.
