Nevada High School Football - Fernley falls to Elko

The Elko Indians felled the host Fernley Vaqueros football team by a score of 30-12 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Indians face the South Tahoe Vikings (South Lake Tahoe, CA) in a challenge, on Friday, September 20. Elko will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Vikings go into the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 15-14 non-league win over Churchill County (Fallon, NV).

The Vaqueros (0-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Truckee (Truckee, CA). The Wolverines go into the challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Truckee toppled Spring Creek (Spring Creek, NV), 17-0, in a league challenge.
