With the win, Poly improves its record to 2-1 on the season. The Parrots host Chavez (San Fernando, CA) to play the Eagles in a battle on Friday, September 20. The Jaguars now have a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Marshall for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 26. Mendez will play a Barristers team coming off a 28-8 non-league win over San Fernando (San Fernando, CA). The Barristers record now stands at 5-0.
