The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Pine Creek Eagles (Colorado Springs, CO) and the host Douglas County Huskies (Castle Rock, CO), observed Pine Creek's softball team prevail over Douglas County by a tally of 21-2.

The Eagles (7-1) will now prepare for their bout against Widefield (Colorado Springs, CO). The Gladiators go into the non-league bout with a 3-2 record. In their last bout, Widefield knocked off Canon City (Canon City, CO), 21-5, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Huskies clash with the Castle View Sabercats (Castle Rock, CO) in a non-league bout, on Monday, September 16. Douglas County will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record.
