Fans at Friday's league battle between the East Greenwich Avengers (East Greenwich, RI) and the visiting Cranston East Thunderbolts (Cranston, RI), saw East Greenwich's soccer squad triumph over Cranston East by a count of 5-0.

The Avengers (3-0) will now prepare for their battle against Coventry (Coventry, RI). The Oakers enter the Division 2 battle with a 1-2 record. In their last battle, Coventry Lincoln (Lincoln, RI), 3-3, in a league battle.

Next up, the Thunderbolts battle the Mt. Pleasant Kilties (Providence, RI) in a Division 3 battle, on Tuesday, September 17. Cranston East will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record.
