The Mountaineers (5-5) will now prepare for their battle against Grand River Prep (Kentwood, MI). The enter the non-league battle with a 2-3 record. In their last battle, Grand River Prep tipped Tri-Unity Christian (Wyoming, MI), 5-2, in a league battle.

Next up, the Eagles battle the Lakeview Wildcats (Lakeview, MI) in a Freelance battle, on Monday, September 16. Kent City will attempt to upgrade on its 9-2 season record. The Wildcats enter the battle with a 3-7 record after their 6-0 non-league win over Crossroads Charter Academy (Big Rapids, MI).
