Fans at Friday's league battle between the Newmarket Mules (Newmarket, NH) and the host Sunapee Lakers (Sunapee, NH), saw Newmarket's soccer squad knock off Sunapee by a count of 3-0.
The Mules (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Raymond (Raymond, NH). The Rams enter the non-league battle with a 0-4 record. In their last battle, Raymond by Winnisquam (Tilton, NH), 5-1, in a league battle.
Next up, the Lakers battle the Pittsfield Panthers (Pittsfield, NH) in a Division IV battle, on Monday, September 16. Sunapee will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Panthers enter the battle with a 1-1 record after their 7-1 non-league loss to Monadnock (East Swanzey, NH).
