Northwestern Lehigh Tigers (New Tripoli, PA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Southern Lehigh Spartans (Center Valley, PA), 7-2 in a league test.

With the triumph, Northwestern Lehigh moves its record to 9-0 on the campaign. The Tigers host Lehighton (Lehighton, PA) to clash with the Indians in a Colonial test on Tuesday, September 17. The Indians come into the test with a record of 4-3. Lehighton won 3-0 in their recent league test against Saucon Valley (Hellertown, PA)

The Spartans now sport a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Nazareth Area for a non-league test on Monday, September 16. Southern Lehigh will clash with a Blue Eagles team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Parkland (Allentown, PA). The Blue Eagles record now stands at 3-4.
