The Fort Gibson Tigers softball team scored 14 runs and held the visiting McAlester Buffaloes to 1 in the Tigers non-league win on Friday.
The Tigers now possess a 10-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Checotah for a 4A District 6 battle on Tuesday, September 17.
With the loss, McAlester moves to 0-12 on the season. The Buffaloes travel to Stigler (Stigler, OK) to confront the Panthers in a non-league battle on Monday, September 16. The Panthers come into the battle with a record of 16-5. Stigler won 10-0 in their recent league battle against Sallisaw (Sallisaw, OK)
