The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Sequoyah Indians (Tahlequah, OK) and the host Grove Ridgerunners (Grove, OK), observed Sequoyah's softball team notch a victory over Grove by a tally of 12-0.

The Indians (23-1) will now prepare for their bout against Kansas (Kansas, OK). The Comets go into the 3A bout with a 11-11 record.

In their next game, the Ridgerunners battle the Kansas Comets (Kansas, OK) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 13. Grove will attempt to advance on its 8-7 season record. The Comets go into the bout with a 10-10 record after their 8-0 non-league loss to Fairland (Fairland, OK).
