With the triumph, Hillgrove improves its record to 14-7 on the year. The Hawks host McEachern (Powder Springs, GA) to play the Indians in a 6A Region 3 game on Thursday, September 19. The Indians enter the game with a record of 8-8.

The Spartans now hold a 8-7 record. They play next when they host Rome for a 5A Region 5 game on Tuesday, September 17.
