Ayden - Grifton Chargers (Ayden, NC) followers left the game satisfied Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Foard Tigers (Newton, NC), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Ayden - Grifton advances its record to 13-0 on the season. The Chargers travel to McMichael (Mayodan, NC) to face the Phoenix in a non-league test on Saturday, September 14. The Phoenix go into the test with a record of 12-0. McMichael won 3-0 in their recent league test against T.W. Andrews (High Point, NC)

The Tigers now sport a 4-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Crest for a non-league test on Saturday, September 14. Foard will face a Chargers squad coming off a 3-0 league win over North Gaston (Dallas, NC). The Chargers record now stands at 4-10.
