Dayton Bulldogs (Springfield, NJ) boosters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Bernards Mountaineers (Bernardsville, NJ), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Dayton improves its record to 3-3 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Cranford (Cranford, NJ) to face the Cougars in a Union County - Mountain test on Monday, September 16. The Cougars go into the test with a record of 2-1.

The Mountaineers now own a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host The Pingry School for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 17. Bernards will face a Big Blue squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Immaculata (Somerville, NJ). The Big Blue record now stands at 0-5.
