In Friday's non-league challenge, the host Latin Romans volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Berwyn/Cicero Morton Mustangs.

The Romans (6-6) will now prepare for their challenge against York (Elmhurst, IL). The Dukes come into the non-league challenge with a 8-2 record. In their last challenge, York beat Oak Park-River Forest (Oak Park, IL), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs play the Buffalo Grove Bison (Buffalo Grove, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 13. Berwyn/Cicero Morton will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Bison come into the challenge with a 5-6 record after their 2-0 league win over Elk Grove (Elk Grove Village, IL).
