Kentucky High School Volleyball - Highlands over South Oldham

In Friday's non-league challenge, the host Highlands Bluebirds volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the South Oldham Dragons.

The Bluebirds (7-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Bryan Station (Lexington, KY). The Defenders enter the non-league challenge with a 7-10 record. In their last challenge, Bryan Station was beaten by Scott County (Georgetown, KY), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Dragons meet the Oldham County Colonels (Buckner, KY) in a District 29 challenge, on Tuesday, September 17. South Oldham will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Colonels enter the challenge with a 11-4 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Simon Kenton (Independence, KY).
