Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Lindsay Knights (Lindsay, TX) and the host Nocona Indians (Nocona, TX), observed Lindsay's volleyball team top Nocona by a count of 3-0.

The Knights (12-10) will now prepare for their contest against Collinsville (Collinsville, TX). The Pirates enter the 2A Region II District 10 contest with a 12-15 record. In their last contest, Collinsville notched a victory over Howe (Howe, TX), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Indians battle the Memorial Mavericks (Wichita Falls, TX) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, September 17. Nocona will attempt to move on its 11-10 season record. The Mavericks enter the contest with a 14-10 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Randall (Amarillo, TX).
