South Dakota High School Volleyball - Pierre T.F. Riggs tips Sturgis Brown

In Friday's league challenge, the visiting Pierre T.F. Riggs Governors volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Sturgis Brown Scoopers.

The Governors (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Spearfish (Spearfish, SD). The Spartans come into the AA District 1 challenge with a 7-5 record. In their last challenge, Spearfish edged Rapid City Christian (Rapid City, SD), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Scoopers play the Aberdeen Central Golden Eagles (Aberdeen, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 14. Sturgis Brown will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record. The Golden Eagles come into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Huron (Huron, SD).
