New Mexico High School Football - Clayton crushes Navajo Pine

September 13, 2025: Navajo, NM 87328

Clayton Yellowjackets (Clayton, NM) followers went home pleased Saturday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Navajo Pine Warriors (Navajo, NM), 54-0 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Clayton advances its record to 1-3 on the season. The Yellowjackets travel to Cloudcroft (Cloudcroft, NM) to play the Bears in a 8-Man District 2 (8 Man) battle on Saturday, September 27. The Bears go into the battle with a record of 0-3.

The Warriors now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they host Monument Valley for a non-league match on Friday, September 19. Navajo Pine will confront a Cougars squad coming off a 46-22 league loss to Altamont (Altamont, UT). The Cougars record now stands at 0-3.
