California High School Football - Herlong toppled by Loyalton

The Herlong Vikings football squad (Herlong, CA), was toppled 38-12 in Saturday's non-league contest with the visiting Loyalton Grizzlies (Loyalton, CA)

The Grizzlies (2-1) will now prepare for their bout against Sierra Lutheran (Carson City, NV). The Falcons go into the non-league bout with a 4-0 record. In their last bout, Sierra Lutheran beat Coleville (Coleville, CA), 35-0, in a non-league bout.

The Vikings now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Happy Camp for a California - Division II (8 Man) bout on Friday, September 19. Herlong will encounter a Indians team coming off a 62-8 non-league loss to South Fork (Miranda, CA). The Indians record now stands at 1-2.
