The Lake Linden-Hubbell Lakes overwhelmed the visiting Rapid River Rockets football squad by a margin of 62-14 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Lakes now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Stephenson for a non-league test on Friday, September 19. Lake Linden-Hubbell will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 44-24 non-league loss to North Central (Powers, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 0-3.
With the defeat, Rapid River drops to 1-3 on the year. The Rockets host Forest Park (Crystal Falls, MI) to face the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Friday, September 19. The Trojans enter the challenge with a record of 1-2. Forest Park lost 58-7 in their recent non-league challenge against North Dickinson (Felch, MI)
