The Smoky Hill Buffaloes felled the visiting Prairie View Thunderhawks football team by a score of 30-20 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Buffaloes play the Rangeview Raiders (Aurora, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 20. Smoky Hill will attempt to improve on its 3-0 season record. The Raiders go into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 36-14 non-league win over Lakewood (Lakewood, CO).

With the defeat, Prairie View drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Thunderhawks travel to Fairview (Boulder, CO) to meet the Knights in a test on Saturday, October 4. The Knights come into the test with a record of 3-0.
