Corona Panthers (Corona, CA) followers went home in high spirits Saturday as they saw their flag football team achieve victory over the host Arleta Mustangs (Arleta, CA), 25-0 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Corona advances its record to 8-6 on the season. The Panthers travel to Glenn (Norwalk, CA) to confront the Eagles in a non-league match on Saturday, September 13. The Eagles come into the match with a record of 1-7. Glenn lost 33-0 in their recent league match against Cerritos (Cerritos, CA)

In their next game, the Mustangs play the East Valley Falcons (North Hollywood, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 13. Arleta will attempt to improve on its 0-10 season record. The Falcons go into the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 45-18 league loss to Sun Valley Magnet (Sun Valley, CA).
