Aurora West College Prep Academy Spartans (Aurora, CO) fans went home in high spirits Saturday as they saw their flag football team achieve victory over the host Gateway Olympians (Aurora, CO), 20-0 in a league battle.

With the win, Aurora West College Prep Academy improves its record to 2-4 on the season. The Spartans travel to Aurora Central (Aurora, CO) to play the Trojans in a 5A/4A Northern Colorado battle on Monday, September 15. The Trojans go into the battle with a record of 1-5. Aurora Central lost 61-0 in their recent league battle against Mountain View (Loveland, CO)

The Olympians now have a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Thornton for a non-league match on Wednesday, September 17. Gateway will meet a Trojans squad coming off a 26-0 league loss to Northglenn (Northglenn, CO). The Trojans record now stands at 2-5.
