The crowd at Saturday's non-league contest between the Roosevelt Mustangs (Eastvale, CA) and the visiting King/Drew Golden Eagles (Los Angeles, CA), witnessed Roosevelt's flag football squad knock off King/Drew by a tally of 14-6.

The Mustangs (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Norco (Norco, CA). The Cougars go into the non-league bout with a 8-4 record. In their last bout, Norco beat Citrus Valley (Redlands, CA), 19-6, in a non-league bout.

The Golden Eagles now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Paramount for a non-league bout on Monday, September 15. King/Drew will encounter a Pirates team coming off a 6-0 non-league win over St. Paul (Santa Fe Springs, CA). The Pirates record now stands at 4-8.
