California High School Flag Football - Rio Mesa falls to Lompoc

September 13, 2025: Lompoc, CA 93436

The Lompoc Braves felled the visiting Rio Mesa Spartans flag football team by a score of 26-6 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Braves play the Santa Ynez Pirates (Santa Ynez, CA) in a challenge, on Tuesday, September 16. Lompoc will attempt to improve on its 5-2 season record. The Pirates go into the challenge with a 5-1 record after their 25-14 non-league win over Madera South (Madera, CA).

The Spartans (5-8) will now prepare for their test against Bakersfield Christian (Bakersfield, CA). The Eagles come into the non-league test with a 4-3 record. In their last test, Bakersfield Christian knocked off Inglewood (Inglewood, CA), 12-7, in a non-league test.
