Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Fairview Yellowjackets (Fairview, TN) and the host Sequoyah Chiefs (Madisonville, TN), saw Fairview's soccer squad triumph over Sequoyah by a count of 9-0.
The Yellowjackets (11-1) will now prepare for their battle against Sequatchie County (Dunlap, TN). The Indians enter the non-league battle with a 4-2 record. In their last battle, Sequatchie County ran past Sale Creek (Sale Creek, TN), 7-1, in a league battle.
The Chiefs now sport a 4-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cosby for a non-league match on Saturday, September 13. Sequoyah will meet a Eagles team coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Greenback (Greenback, TN). The Eagles record now stands at 5-2.
