The New Britain Golden Hurricanes felled the host Kennedy Eagles football team by a score of 30-2 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Golden Hurricanes meet the Hall/Conard Warchiefs (West Hartford, CT) in a non-league test, on Saturday, September 20. New Britain will attempt to upgrade on its 1-0 season record.

With the defeat, Kennedy drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Torrington (Torrington, CT) to meet the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 20.
