Pittsford Panthers (Pittsford, NY) fans went home in high spirits Saturday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting University Prep Charter Gator (Bronx, NY), 27-6 in a non-league battle.

The Panthers (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Webster Schroeder (Webster, NY). The Warriors come into the non-league match with a 0-1 record.

In their next game, the Gator face the Penfield Patriots (Penfield, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, October 6. University Prep Charter will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
