Notre Dame-Green Pond Crusaders (Easton, PA) fans went home in high spirits Saturday as they observed their soccer squad knock off the visiting Catasauqua Rough Riders (Catasauqua, PA), 3-1 in a non-league outing.

The Crusaders (2-0) will now prepare for their outing against Palisades (Kintnersville, PA). The Pirates go into the non-league outing with a 0-0 record.

Next up, the Rough Riders play the Northern Lehigh Bulldogs (Slatington, PA) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, September 16. Catasauqua will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Bulldogs come into the game with a 1-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Lehighton (Lehighton, PA).
