The Loyola Academy Ramblers nipped the visiting Deerfield Warriors soccer squad by a margin of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
The Ramblers now hold a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brother Rice for a non-league contest on Tuesday, September 16. Loyola Academy will face a Crusaders team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Chicago Christian (Palos Heights, IL). The Crusaders record now stands at 4-4.
The Warriors (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Cary-Grove (Cary, IL). The Trojans enter the non-league challenge with a 2-5 record. In their last challenge, Cary-Grove nudged Cristo Rey St. Martin (Waukegan, IL), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.
