The Cougars now own a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rockbridge County for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 16. Alleghany will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Waynesboro (Waynesboro, VA). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-3.
