The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Western Branch Bruins (Chesapeake, VA) and the host Atlantic Shores Christian Seahawks (Chesapeake, VA), saw Western Branch's volleyball squad nudge Atlantic Shores Christian by a score of 2-1.

With the win, Western Branch improves its record to 5-5 on the season. The Bruins travel to Academy-Notre Dame De Namur (Villanova, PA) to encounter the in a non-league battle on Saturday, September 13. The enter the contest with a record of 0-0.
