In Saturday's non-league bout, the Bell Creek Academy Panthers (Riverview, FL) volleyball team held off the visiting Auburndale Bloodhounds (Auburndale, FL), by a margin of 2-1.
The Panthers now possess a 11-2 record. They take the field next when they host Mitchell for a non-league contest on Wednesday, September 17.
Next, the Bloodhounds battle the Bartow Yellow Jackets (Bartow, FL) in a non-league contest, on Monday, September 15. Auburndale will attempt to move on its 9-2 season record. The Yellow Jackets enter the contest with a 5-3 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Central (Brooksville, FL).
