Lane Tech Champions (Chicago, IL) backers were pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Byron Tigers (Byron, IL), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Champions (17-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Streator (Streator, IL). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 2-5 record. In their last challenge, Streator lost by Herscher (Herscher, IL), 2-0, in a league test.

The Tigers now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Genoa-Kingston for a test on Tuesday, October 21.
