In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Columbus East Olympians volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Franklin Central Flashes.

The Olympians (6-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Decatur Central (Indianapolis, IN). The Hawks come into the non-league challenge with a 7-4 record. In their last challenge, Decatur Central edged Beech Grove (Beech Grove, IN), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next up, the Flashes face the Greenwood Woodmen (Greenwood, IN) in a non-league game, on Monday, September 15. Franklin Central will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Woodmen go into the game with a 3-8 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Indianapolis Bishop Chatard (Indianapolis, IN).
