El Dorado Golden Hawks (Placentia, CA) backers were pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host St. Paul Swordsmen (Santa Fe Springs, CA), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Golden Hawks (16-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Ayala (Chino Hills, CA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Ayala beat Bonita (La Verne, CA), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Swordsmen play the Walnut Mustangs (Walnut, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 13. St. Paul will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 2-0 league loss to Glendora (Glendora, CA).
