The Streator Bulldogs topped the host Elgin Maroons volleyball squad by a margin of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league outing.

The Bulldogs now possess a 6-6 record. They play next when they travel to Lane Tech for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 13. Streator will play a Champions team coming off a 2-0 league win over Taft (Chicago, IL). The Champions record now stands at 13-4.

With the loss, Elgin drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Maroons host Round Lake (Round Lake, IL) to play the Panthers in a non-league outing on Thursday, October 2. The Panthers come into the outing with a record of 0-0.
