The St. Francis Troubadours (Sacramento, CA) volleyball overcame the host Elk Grove Thundering Herd (Elk Grove, CA), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league contest.
The Troubadours (18-1) will now prepare for their contest against Vacaville (Vacaville, CA). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 1-6 record. In their last battle, Vacaville achieved victory over River City (West Sacramento, CA), 2-0, in a league battle.
The Thundering Herd now own a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Laguna Creek for a battle on Tuesday, September 16. Elk Grove will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Grant (Sacramento, CA). The Cardinals record now stands at 9-3.
