The Homestead Mustangs volleyball squad (Cupertino, CA), dropped 2-0 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Lynbrook Vikings (San Jose, CA)

The Vikings (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory (San Francisco, CA). The Fightin' Irish go into the non-league battle with a 4-0 record. In their last battle, Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory achieved victory over Archbishop Mitty (San Jose, CA), 2-1, in a league battle.

The Mustangs now own a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lowell for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 13. Homestead will meet a Cardinals team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Aragon (San Mateo, CA). The Cardinals record now stands at 2-0.
