Rocklin Thunder (Rocklin, CA) backers were pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Inderkum Tigers (Sacramento, CA), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Thunder (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Ponderosa (Shingle Springs, CA). The Bruins come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Ponderosa beat Union Mine (El Dorado, CA), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Tigers meet the Granite Bay Grizzlies (Granite Bay, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 13. Inderkum will attempt to advance on its 1-5 season record. The Grizzlies go into the test with a 5-3 record after their 2-1 league win over Davis Sr. (Davis, CA).
