In Saturday's non-league test, the visiting Oak Ridge Trojans volleyball squad scored a 2-0 triumph over the Nevada Union Miners.
The Trojans (14-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Granite Bay (Granite Bay, CA). The Grizzlies come into the non-league challenge with a 5-3 record. In their last challenge, Granite Bay beat Davis Sr. (Davis, CA), 2-1, in a league challenge.
Next, the Miners meet the Placer Hillmen (Auburn, CA) in a challenge, on Tuesday, September 16. Nevada Union will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Hillmen come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Rio Americano (Sacramento, CA).
