The Walnut Mustangs edged the visiting St. Paul Swordsmen volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league game.
Next up, the Mustangs face the Santa Fe Chiefs (Santa Fe Springs, CA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, September 13. Walnut will attempt to advance on its 7-5 season record.
The Swordsmen (0-3) will now prepare for their game against St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy (Downey, CA). The Warriors go into the game with a 5-0 record.
