Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Bishop McDevitt Crusaders (Harrisburg, PA) and the visiting Altoona Mountain Lions (Altoona, PA), saw Bishop McDevitt's soccer squad hold off Altoona by a count of 3-2.
The Crusaders (3-4) will now prepare for their battle against Central Dauphin East (Harrisburg, PA). The Panthers enter the non-league battle with a 1-5 record. In their last battle, Central Dauphin East was edged by Palmyra (Palmyra, PA), 1-0, in a league battle.
Next up, the Mountain Lions battle the Red Land Patriots (Lewisberry, PA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 16. Altoona will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record.
